Job Title: Art Director and Brand Designer 

Job/Project Description: Luminar creates eco-conscious soy candles, hand-poured in small batches, in the heart of Lille, France. The name ‘Luminar’ stems from the Latin ‘lumin’, meaning ‘light’. The brief was to create a brand identity that was cozy and nostalgic, with a sophisticated style. Inspired by concepts such as hygge, Luminar’s branding conjures up imagery of cabin fires and autumn leaves. The use of negative space and mature typefaces, combined with playful imagery, gives the brand a simultaneously refined and rustic feel.
